Changing The Way Men Perceive Charity, Service And What It Means To Give Back To Our Community - One ’Stache at a Time

ORANGE, Calif. – On June 4, Moustaches for Kids held Stache Bash, their annual Costume Party and Awards Show at Crevier Classic Cars in Costa Mesa. A check for $131,301 was presented to its 2022 Charity Partner, Unlimited Possibilities (formerly UCP-OC) of Santa Ana, whose mission is dedicated to “creating a limitless future for children and families with disabilities.” Donations keep coming in, and the total has risen to $132,624 and counting.

Moustaches for Kids volunteer "growers" grow and display their beautiful moustaches for 30 days each year to gather pledges from donors. After five years of these 30-day ’stache sprints, the charity has raised more than $500,000 for Orange County kids and families. Previous Charity Partners include: Make-A-Wish Orange County, CHOC, Miracles for Kids and Camp Conrad Chinnock. The charity is 100 percent volunteer run and operated and is a registered 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization.

Said Dr. Ramin Baschshi, CEO of Unlimited Possibilities, “Through their innovative fundraising efforts over the last 5 years, Moustaches for Kids has established themselves as a prominent champion for children’s charities within our community. By challenging individuals to rethink traditional methods of philanthropy, Moustaches for Kids is truly changing the landscape of fundraising across Orange County.”

“We’re on a mission is to change the way men perceive charity, service and what it means to give back to our community, and we’re doing it one ’stache at a time,” said Tim Kearns, President of Moustaches for Kids. “Our approach may be unconventional, but it’s always intentional. Moustaches for Kids is making a direct impact in Orange County.”

The organization welcomes continued donations at the above contact numbers as it prepares for several "off-season" events and their 6th annual growing season, which will begin on May 4, 2023.
